With deep musicianship and artistry, passion and commitment to creative concert projects, and superlative organizational skills, Peter would be an ideal partner in any musical collaboration.

– conductor Jerry Hou

Debuting as a concerto soloist at age 18, Ferry is a passionate advocate for contemporary music in the ensemble context and for the recognition of percussion as an expressive and dynamic solo instrument.

This past season, Ferry performed the North American premiere of Joe Duddell's Ruby and the New York premiere of Jacob TV's Barracuda concerto.

Ferry's diverse concerto repertoire allows for collaborations with:
full orchestra, chamber orchestra, string orchestra, wind ensemble, chorus, and percussion ensemble (for all levels from professional orchestras to high school ensembles).

A multimedia solo piece chosen from Ferry's repertoire to fit the rest of the program is often included for concerto collaborations.

Please use the Contact tab to begin a conversation with your ensemble about a collaboration. As we begin to discuss specific pieces, we will look at: instrumentation, recordings, scores, percussion logistics, part rentals, and concert/programming possibilities.
